Ten at the table.
Every member is useful to Bartholomew Vance or in his debt. Most are both.

Your host
Founder of Vance Minerals and of the Fever Tree Club. Every year he unveils his next venture at the retreat. This year it's a lithium mine, which he describes as clean energy for the planet.
Played by Kevyn
Dr. Maya Vance
The lodge doctor
Bartholomew's younger sister. She runs the lodge clinic for guests and the village alike, and is the only person at Mara Sands who tells her brother no.
Played by Keishia
Theodore “Teddy” Wakefield
The investor
Managing partner of Wakefield Capital, on honeymoon with his new wife, Daisy. His fund is the mine's lead investor. Generous with drinks; sweating through his linen.
Played by Matt
Marguerite “Daisy” Wakefield
The new wife
Teddy's wife of six weeks. A former investigative reporter who swears she's retired. Lovely manners. Very quiet.
Played by Maria
Genevieve LaRue
The fiancée
Wellness founder with two million followers, engaged to Bartholomew for three weeks. Adores the wilderness. Will not touch dirt.
Captain Jax Mercer
The pilot
Charter pilot. Flies guests, supplies and anything else that pays. Flies the morning charter to Nairobi.
Julian “Fox” Sterling
The rival
Heir to Ashcombe Hall, polo player, and by common agreement Bartholomew's oldest friend and least favorite person.
Vivienne Rossi
The photographer
Wildlife photographer on assignment for a glossy magazine. Shoots on film, which everyone finds charming. Never without a camera.
Dr. Tariq Bell
The botanist
Plant biologist. He's spent ten years documenting an orchid that grows only in the valley Bartholomew intends to mine.
Celeste Amara
The philanthropist
Runs a girls' school charity near the border. Here, she says, to secure Vance Minerals' annual donation.
